About Rachel Denney
I qualifed as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2003 and developed an interest in supporting autistic children and young people early in my career .
For 16 years, I worked in NHS and local authority services as a highly specialised Speech and Language Therapist, leading the autism service.
Over my career I have also worked in a specialist residential school for children who had experienced severe early years trauma and within an independent organisation, setting up a specialist speech and language therapy service for autistic children.
My approach is empathetic and client-centred, ensuring that you feel listened to and involved every step of the way. My family is neurodiverse, which gives me a lived experience perspective in addition to my clinical background.
What my clients say about me
Feedback from clients, their families and wider networks is always welcomed.
